A few miles down the road from us is Trials Solutions Ltd. where Clare and Andy Haward test hundreds of vegetable and salad varieties for seed breeders. Clare is an expert on Winter and Summer squashes (courgettes) and we are offering some of her favourites in two collections. Winter squashes are used when they are mature and will store for several months if the skins are cured in the sun or in an airing cupboard.
