These are designed and made especially for us, they are hand-made by a local wood turner from ash. We wanted to stock items which we found useful when gardening. Second year of our dibbers and wigwam tops.

Hand-made by a local wood turner from ash and then lightly oiled to protect the wood and bring out the grain, the perfect tool for planting our modules.

To aid with planting, the dibber is scored at inch intervals.

Specially commissioned acorn design to take six 8-foot canes.

Growing beans on a wigwam of canes makes good use of space and makes a dramatic focal point in the potager (decorative vegetable garden).

Like our dibbers, these are hand-made by a local craftsman from ash, which is much more durable than the pine usually used for these items.

Lightly oiled to protect the wood and bring out the grain.

Introductory Offer
They are perfect for filling with our salad plants or even flowers. The bag will last at least 2 seasons and if stored emptied and dry when not in use, should last a lot longer. There are 10 planting holes on each bag.

We are doing an offer with our Mini Packs, great way of getting your salad closer to the kitchen and away from slugs!

A couple of tips to get these started:

~Fill with a good quality potting compost firming into the corners.

~ Our plug plants are ideal to plant these bags up, you may have to enlarge the holes to get them in and don't over crowd them. We have found 6 plants from the salad plants (5 on the side, 1 in the top) was enough per bag, however, flowers you could use all 10 holes.

~ Leaving the bags flat make sure you water in the plants ideally with a watering can with a fine rose.

~ Allow the plants establish while flat for 1 or 2 weeks then you can hang them up.

~ Water regularly, checking that the water is reaching all the plants including the bottom.
~ Once finished, knock the soil out, re plant or store for next year.

AGRALAN ENVIROMESH XL

AGRALAN ENVIROMESH XL   


AGRALAN ENVIROMESH is a fine mesh net designed to protect vegetable and soft fruit crops from a range of insect pests, birds, rabbits and the weather. Rain can pass freely through the mesh so it need not be removed from watering. Crops may be covered all the year round and right up to harvest.

The high level of ventilation, compared to 'Fleece- covers, reduces the risk of high temperature and humidity which can encourage diseases and weed growth. Also it is much less vulnerable to being blown away by strong winds.

AGRALAN ENVIROMESH is immensely strong and durable. It is almost impossible to tear, so that is not damaged by even large birds and animals. Independent durability tests showed its life expectancy to be 20 times that of garden 'Fleece'.

What is Envirotect?
Envirotect is a crop cover woven from strips of a very soft polyethylene. When laid over a crop the effect is to provide a micro climate to encourage the growth of seeds and young plants. The effect is similar to normal garden fleece but it is much stronger and more durable.

Size ~ 5 x 2 metres(approx. 16x 6 square feet).
